You know, all I want is a pair of non-sexy PJs that are my voluptuous size and AREN'T EFFING PINK (or any other foul pastel colour (or white), but especially pink), TRIMMED WITH PINK or stamped with a picture of a cute cartoon animal (Sanrio not included, as Hello Kitty would be acceptable). Why is this so EFFING IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!

I'm not even asking for ones with skulls or pentagrams on (which would be perfect but only exist in my dreams). Just plain black would do!

Ear infection is clearing slowly, but my hearing still feels like Ihave both hands over my ears. Of course, this is really crap timing as I'm on an intense training course this week.

I'm suffering from an ear infection at the moment and my head is numb down one side, but it didn't stop me making a banner for the latest writerconuk challenge. Artists design banners and set prompts and the writers spin the prompts into yarns. Get over there and join in, you're all welcome!

Another day, another journal.

I'm trying to persaude my muse to come back, as it's been MIA lately. Work is taking up too much space in my mind. :(

Still, I managed to coax out a drabble tonight (even if it's not the greatest thing I've ever written):

(BtVS, Season Six, during the night in Older And Far Away before everyone wakes for the cartoons. Spike/Buffy)


“Ssh!” Buffy hisses and snatches the cards back. “Just one game, I said.”

“You got somewhere else to be off to?” Spike asks as he attempts to brush the hair away from her cheek.

But she dodges, recoiling sharply. “Stop that! Someone will wake up!”

“And see what? Two people having an innocent game of cards?”

“Nothing about you is innocent, Spike.”

“It’s just a part of my charm.”

“Ugh.” But Buffy’s disgust lacks conviction. Perhaps she can’t quite muster the indignation when she’s letting his hand roam over her thigh.

He leans in and kisses her lightly. “Just deal.”

My legs are very sore today. Yesterday I walked my legs off tramping around the Science Museum (which I was less than impressed with. All I learnt was what the weight of an average brain felt like) and Hamleys. My camera is broken, so alas, there will be no picspam.

Therefore, I shall meme from bed and purge my hard disc of all ones I answered but never finished. I might stick in a snippet of the Black Widow sequel too.

My internet connection at home is now non-existent, so I've decamped to the parents for solace. I do have a little something to offer for my absence.

It's lateseasonlove challenge time! I took a bit of a break for computer problems and lack of inspiration, but I'm back for Doublemeat Palace.

Tried to get this out for calove's birthday. So close!

They travel now. Showing her the world – the colours, the wonders, the people.

Yet for all his changes, the view is through demon eyes – sights are seen under moonlight, beautiful cities hold macabre nostalgia and there’s always something to fight. Slaying is an international business and she’s a jet set Slayer slowly learning that the world is big, wide place.

She has a map where she marks all the places they go, colouring them in as they move on the next place.

But the only colour she has to use is blood.

I'm so embarassed about how long it is since my last chapter. The Heartstone took most of that, but RL has started to eat into my writing time and I find myself getting very little done of an evening.
